Job description :
Our client is a Chilean company with more than 35 years producing salmon trout.
The company start selling only in Japan since its beginning, and in the last 5 years ago our sales have been spread to several markets, growing exponentially in North America, being Canada a very good market for the company as the country has their own Trout, so the specie is well known among consumers.Their customers are importers, supermarkets, distributors and reprocessor companies.
The National Sales Manager will report directly to the Commercial Manager.
Main priorities
- Bring an active customer base to the company with customers seeking to buy trout frozen products.
- Develop new customers in Food Service and Retail.
- To list new products in the market (smoked in supermarkets or convenience stores open HORECA accounts, partner with Food Service distribution companies, etc.
Skills and qualifications :
- Sales Manager with a strong and deep knowledge of the salmon and trout industry
- Fluent in English
- Proactive, enthusiastic and willing to “makes things happened
- Capable to take a decision and negotiate with customers
- Experience in sales with an active customers base/portfolio in frozen salmon and trout products
- Ideally to have contact with domestic or local companies that purchase products from importers, our goal is that the sales manager can bring and develop customers that are purchasing today from importers
